Chronicling Over a Century of Cougar History
The Columbia High School Yearbook Club is more than a publication. It is a living record of over 120 years of student life, spirit, and community. Every generation leaves its mark, and this year’s team continues the legacy. From capturing campus moments to designing the pages that will be treasured for decades, members of the Yearbook Club shape how the story of CHS is told.
Students in the club gain hands-on experience in photography, writing, editing, and design, blending creativity with collaboration, technology, and leadership. Whether you are behind a camera, organizing layouts, or crafting the year’s theme, you will develop real-world communication and media skills that translate far beyond high school.

Historical editions of Columbia High School’s yearbooks, dating back more than a century, are preserved through the Maplewood Memorial Library’s Digital Archive of Maplewood History. The latest ten years may be viewed within the library buildings, while older editions are available online for public access.
Students with a creative mindset, especially underclassmen, are encouraged to join the Yearbook Club and help create the next chapter in Columbia’s story!
